Befriending a scholarly Zortash yielded spells and warnings. After looting an armory and winning a dice game, the party is fully equipped and ready to descend to level four.

11/28/2025 – Swyvers – Feta the Foul, Part I
Hired to eliminate Feta, the gang survived a brutal nursery skirmish. Severely injured, they retreated, healed, fenced their loot, and are now planning a strategic return to finish the job.

Kingmaker: Ep. 12 – Gongaii
Surviving ogres and traps, the crew conquered a barrow’s champion to claim the broken blade Kell-Singer. Now they trek to the Bottoms, seeking Grandmother to reforge the legendary weapon.

Kingmaker: Ep. 11 – Gongaii
The party fought giant dragonflies, retreated to heal, then explored a ruined boggard village. They acquired blue dragonfly poison gourds and repelled a massive froghemoth, now deciding their next path: barrow, boggards, or centaurs.

11/21/2025 – Geeks & Games – Belowdown Level 1
Breaching Below Down, the crew battled mutants, uncovered Zortash’s name, and looted shrines. They retreated surface-side after a vicious amber ooze encounter cost Yuri his hand.

Kingmaker: Ep. 10 – Gongaii
The crew stormed the bogs, crushed a Boggard shaman and his demon crab, freed a strange captive, survived parasites and sickness, claimed bounties—and uncovered barrows, tunnels, and things promising even deadlier adventures ahead.

Kingmaker: Ep. 9 – Gongaii
The party bargained with Melana to free charmed loggers, then aided dryad Tracia by battling a ravenous scythe tree. After a brutal fight, they prevailed, earned enchanted acorns, restored Melana’s oaks, won the loggers’ release, secured aid for Fort Owlbear, and gained a final acorn for a future outpost.

Review: Kingmaker – Paizo – Pt. 1
The writer is playtesting Shadowfinder rules in Pathfinder 2 while adapting the Kingmaker adventure path. They appreciate the open-world nature, but find the conversion to Pathfinder 2 complicated, especially regarding stronghold building. Although initial sessions flow well, concerns grow about future campaign challenges, particularly after the third book’s conflict.

Kingmaker: Ep. 8 – Gongaii
The party ended the Stag Lord’s haunting, crushed a bandit ambush, and appeased the drowned ferryman. After surviving tatzlworms and an ettin attack, they returned with tinctures, a wagon, and fangberries—Fort Owlbear’s first garden taking root at last.

The party braved Ramlaat’s ruined temple, survived illusions, traps, and an awakening idol, then battled crypt-born undead. Reinforced, they cleared the crypt, uncovered relics and a key, and learned the sealed doors led deeper—into the Down Under.
