Review: Kingmaker – Paizo – Pt. 1
The writer is playtesting Shadowfinder rules in Pathfinder 2 while adapting the Kingmaker adventure path. They appreciate the open-world nature, but find the conversion to Pathfinder 2 complicated, especially regarding stronghold building. Although initial sessions flow well, concerns grow about future campaign challenges, particularly after the third book’s conflict.

Kingmaker: Ep. 8 – Gongaii
The party ended the Stag Lord’s haunting, crushed a bandit ambush, and appeased the drowned ferryman. After surviving tatzlworms and an ettin attack, they returned with tinctures, a wagon, and fangberries—Fort Owlbear’s first garden taking root at last.

11/21/2025 – Geeks & Games – A New Hope
The party braved Ramlaat’s ruined temple, survived illusions, traps, and an awakening idol, then battled crypt-born undead. Reinforced, they cleared the crypt, uncovered relics and a key, and learned the sealed doors led deeper—into the Down Under.

11/14/2025 – Swyvers, Ep. 2 – Cheesemongers
The party calmed a starving child, bargained with wine-mad ratfolk, rescued gaunt Cecilia, uncovered the family’s cannibal truth, and forged uneasy alliances with Peter and the Big Cheese while salvaging clues to the manor’s darker mysteries.

Kingmaker: Ep. 7 – Gongaii
The party infiltrated the Stag Lord’s Fort with wine, slew the drunken lord, routed Dovan, unleashed chaos and an owlbear, freed Akiros, seized treasure, claimed the bounty, and secured the renamed Fort Owlbear—only the river task remains.

11/09/2025 – Geeks & Games – A New Hope
In the desecrated ram-temple, the party uncovered Shaitan the satyr’s cruel revel. A dark dryad’s wrath, deadly fey music, and oath-bound nymphs shattered their assault. Jack and Fern fell; Cad escaped, learning the cold iron sword’s secret and vowing to return.

Kingmaker: Ep. 6 – Gongaii
The party stormed the Stag Lord’s watchtower, killing Big Pete and capturing four bandits. From them they learned passwords, defenses, and the Stag Lord’s weakness—drink—then returned to Otto’s to celebrate and prepare their infiltration.

Last session, the party chose to recon the Stag Lord’s fort for Lady Kramenko and headed south from Otto’s. They skirted a distant watchtower and reached the hilltop palisade at night under a waxing moon. Kingmaker: Ep. 4 – Gongaii
The party purified a cursed shrine, slaying a root-entwined bear spirit and restoring its druid guardian. In Laprod, they learned of a revenant bound to the Stag Lord’s death and gathered allies for his downfall.

Kingmaker: Ep. 3 – Gongaii
A sick centaur led to a cyclopean ruin. Harpies, toad-folk, and stone eyes attacked. The heroes defeated a zombie Cyclops, destroyed its orb, and escaped the sinking islet, curing the blight.
